New-Grad Nurse Practitioner Boot Camp (COMING SOON)
Here at OC Safety, our goal is to help newly-graduated nurse practitioners reach their full potential through a series of timely, well-organized, and medically current workshops that hone in on specific first-aid skills and procedures. Designed to build upon your formal education, our courses are designed to help NPs exceed their wealth of knowledge and gain the capacity to provide effective care for any patient they encounter. Our New Grad Nurse Practitioner boot camp is an eight-hour class designed to provide nurses with the extra knowledge they need to be equipped and ready for anything that comes up in their future roles.
Our newly-graduated nurse practitioner boot camp includes: Class 101 for $299.00 (6-hour class)
- A brief physical assessment of knowledge – Quick assessment specific organ presentation.
- A thorough introduction to the primary care environment
- Proper way of prescribing antibiotic prescription to prevent antibiotic resistant
- Review Basic 12 Lead EKG
- Coding for billing visits
- How to code appropriate HCC for Medicare
Hands-on clinical procedures during NP Boot camp include: Class 102 for $399.00 (6-hour class)
- Punch skin biopsy
- Superficial Suturing Minor Laceration
- Incision and Drainage of Simple Abscess
Nurse Practitioner Training With A Licensed Educator
Janet Robson is the Clinical Director of OC Safety Inc. and is our active instructor for the newly-graduated nurse practitioner program. Janet graduated from CSULB, earning her Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner in 2003. With over 20 years of training in the medical field, Ms. Robson currently practices as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in adult/geriatric primary care. Additionally, she sub-specializes in urgent care, well-women’s care, and integrative holistic weight loss. She currently holds a license as a Nurse Practitioner and a Registered Nurse from the Board of Registered Nursing in the state of California.
