BLS (Basic Life Support) is a vital skill where a person can preserve the life of someone who’s fallen unconscious while waiting for medical professionals to arrive. We understand how important this is, so we’ll do all we can to help you in your aim to achieve BLS certification. To make it more convenient for you, we’re even providing a HeartCode BLS Online Course so that you can go online to work toward becoming a BLS healthcare provider.
About the HeartCode BLS Online Course
The HeartCode BLS Online Course is a self-paced course that’s accessible at any time from any computer. Not only can it be used to gain your initial BLS Provider Course completion, but it can be used to renew your status as well. It uses the latest and most advanced eSimulation technology to allow students to treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. By utilizing an array of eLearning assets, such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities, this course will teach BLS skills and knowledge. This method can provide training consistency, adaptability to all kinds of learning styles, and flexibility for both the student’s and the employer’s time.
Students can work at their own pace, applying knowledge to real-time decision-making and skills development. Blended training also supports the need for hands-on learning of psychomotor skills. Coaching and debriefing will be given immediately after each simulation. After the successful completion of all of the patient cases, a student will be provided the opportunity to take a multiple-choice exam. To pass, they need to get a minimum score of 84 percent. The exam may be taken multiple times.
