Orange County First Aid Classes
What you will learn in Orange County first aid classes encompasses a lot of valuable information. You will learn how to survey a scene for your personal safety and the safety of others, learn to alert the person in need of first aid who you are and what you are certified to do, learn about the Samaritan Law and how it impacts your ability to provide first aid, and how to treat wounds and other physical injuries.
Orange County first aid classes are more than just applying band-aids and creating arm slings for broken or dislocated arms. CPR

Using CPR ensures that the person doesn’t die and can help prevent total death before the victim can get to a hospital. When you come upon a scene where there is no AED machine for miles, CPR is the go-to maneuver.
When you learn CPR ahead of learning how to use an AED, you gain a valuable skill you can rely upon in situations where an AED doesn’t exist. CPR has been the life-saving skill of medical professionals for decades, long before any portable AED was created. Once you receive your OC Safety certification in CPR, you will be able to confidently apply your CPR skills in any situation where a person or accident victim has lost the ability to breathe, or their heart has stopped.
AED Training
AED training is the final step in completing life-saving certification skills. An automated external defibrillator is almost exactly like the bigger defibrillator machines in a hospital. The paddles in a portable AED help jumpstart an arrested heart. Training shows you how to use the AED and how to recognize when an AED is appropriate for use.
